"Really?" James said with a laugh. "I live on the beach as well and our elevator is crappy but I haven't gotten stuck in it yet." He slid down the counter and walked as closely as he could to be by her. Leaning on the counter he kept his eyes on Lucy all the while with the same grin on his face.
"You have quite a hand with flower arranging. Well, from what I can tell. It looks really nice." Typically he'd flirt relentlessly with girls, even if it wasn't completely supported by any true feelings, but everything he said to Lucy was genuine and true. He felt the need to compliment her and bring that blush back to her cheeks. "I'll have to come back here if I ever get more flowers," He commented absentmindedly, his gray eyes still on Lucy as she handled the flowers.
