"Uh..." The smile dimmed slightly and James made a motion of uncertainty. "I don't really know what type of flowers she likes. When she was little we used to get her flowers for concert performances but I'm pretty sure they were just generic bouquets. Grabbed them from the grocery store or whatever."
James made a small laugh, maybe his tendency to just grab flowers from a grocery store was some what of a family trait. He gave a casual scratch at his short cropped curls before bringing his hand to his jaw and stroking it gently as his gray eyes took in the flowers around him. "What about some bright colors. You know? I want to brighten her mood so... bright colors would work for that, right?"
He looked back at the woman and a corner of his mouth curled into a smile. He liked her, even if she seemed a little flustered, it made her... cute.
