She made a slight face when she mentioned it being cold. "I don't know if I could do cold weather. I get cold enough as it is here in California." She didn't like the idea of being lonely, either. Truthfully, if she ever did move away, she'd probably end up just like Alexandria, homesick and back in California before too long.

"I don't think my parents would ever let me go that far from home. It was hard enough for them having me move into a different apartment building. Another state would probably be out of the question. I would miss them, too, even if they do drive me nuts most of the time."
