"So we're stuck?" That was not inspiring, to say the least. She had hoped this would all be solved with a simple phone call. The thought that it might not work never even crossed her mind. She chewed on the inside of her lip, unsure of what they were suppose to do next.
Thankfully, Alexandria seemed to know how to steer this portion of their confinement as well. Small talk would be a good distraction. She tilted her head and tried to think back. She felt like she'd been here forever. Being here just felt right and she couldn't imagine moving anywhere else. "I guess it's been about....a month. Yeah, about a month. Not that long. My parents really wanted me to get out on my own again. What about you?"
