A shrug was her first reply, followed by an irritated tone.

"You got your fuckin' picture back - what, did you expect me to wrap it up with a little fuckin' bow for your enjoyment?" She moved the bag of Chinese food from one hand to the next, adjusting her posture as though she were waiting for some sign of gratitude from the other woman, though she'd deem such a thing unnecessary anyway.

"Maybe you oughta find a better place for it, somewhere better than on the floor of yer apartment buildin's lobby," she continued, just because she could and need no further reason.
