From what little she knew about her, she doubted she would be, which made this situation entirely unbearable. Her heart thudded loudly in her chest, she was sure it was loud enough for both of them to hear in the stillness of the lobby. Her heart and Charlie's steps seemed to thud in time. Every 3 beats of her racing heart coincided with one of the other woman's deliberate steps. Please don't let it end up in the trash.
