Rylee took in a deep breath, still not liking the man and wanting to shut up the voice in his head that was telling him to behave. He straightened his back and rolled his muscular shoulders as he turned his gaze to the man. "She and I are very close. We can stop by one another's apartment without having to notify each other beforehand."
Rylee noticed that he was barely keeping his voice from growling out at this man and he felt a nervous tingling in his hands. He hadn't expected to have a show off outside of Charlie's apartment. He was nervous enough with coming to see her and ask her to the movies but now he had to deal with some... man... prying him with questions?
"And who are you? Is she expecting you?" Rylee narrowed his eyes slightly and straightened his back some more, trying to gain height on this man who appeared to be just as tall as he was. Silently he prayed that the man said something like, "friend" or "sales man for random stuff in a bag". Samuel's haunting words that if Rylee didn't make a quick enough move with Charlie he could lose her to somewhere else were floating around in his head. He hoped he hadn't lost her already, especially not to this... person.
