Charlie's face went blank as Cat swooped in and essentially took charge. Her mouth gaped a bit, wanting to protest and say that she had the situation under control. After all, how difficult could it be to wash clothes? But for some reason she found herself abiding by Cat's suggestions, carefully digging through the laundry sack to put lights in one washer while darks went in the one she'd just started to fill.
"Uh, I'm...fine." Her movements took over, leaving a moment of silence before she spoke again. "Seems like it was just a....yah know, one of those twenty four hour bugs or whatever they're called." She wasn't terribly eager to discuss the events of that night, unlike a few others she'd spoken to about it. For a brief moment she wondered if Elias had pressed Cat for more answers, since he'd been so set on believing that she had a part to play in their maladies. Part of her was curious enough to ask while a smaller portion regarded that as rude, and Charlie never regarded anything as rude.
"Have yah talked to Elias? He said he had some weird shit...um, stuff, happen to him too." And now she was correcting her swearing? What was going on?
