Lily laughed, her eyes sparkling as she looked at Luc. "I don't really drink so one glass might very well be enough for me. If I drank this in one gulp I would definitely be trashed."
She sipped the drink lightly and began to play with the straw again. "Well, if you're ever lonely and would like company you're more than welcome to stop by my apartment. I'm not very active at night... right now it's even hard to keep my eyes open. But I'm there. And if you'd like, we could cook this weekend. It would be rather nice to cook with someone and for someone other than my brother."
She grinned at him, feeling at ease and enjoying his company she felt like they had the potential of developing a good friendship at the very least. And after speaking briefly with him through the forums she felt that they shared something- both having lost someone who they were close to. Even if her mother had died when she was a child the pain was still there and she missed her mother dearly. Without realizing it, Lily's hand drifted to her mothers necklace and began to play with the opal heart charm.
"Well, we will need to figure out what will be made. I have a lot of fruit and vegetables that I could bring. Either way I'm sure we'll figure something out and it will end up being delicious." This was an assumption of course. Lily hadn't a clue how decent of a cook Luc was but she preferred to give him the benefit of the doubt.
