A taste test would be more than welcome, as it would get her mind off of her father and on to something less upsetting. "I'd love to sample it." Sampling it would be the only way to accurately judge it in the end. It would also give her an idea of the quality of her produce for the future. Really, it was a win win situation all around.
"Growing it yourself is the only way to know you're getting quality produce." That's what her father use to tell her when it was time to harvest. He was always so proud of their little farm. Damn. She was back on her father again. This was suppose to be getting her mind off of him, not taking her further into thoughts about him.
