Adam understood the sentiment very well. Over the years he had found his best, closest friends to be those around whom he could be quiet, to simply be instead of entertain. It was a comfortable kind of silence friends of that ilk shared, refreshing after days of constant chaos and noise. It was good to hear Joaquin seemed so inclined; it renewed Adam's interest in seeking him out, strengthened his resolve to see to it they kept in contact.
"No problem," Adam said, rising from the sofa to see his new acquaintance out. "Text me any time, seriously. I'm looking forward to it."
