"Oh, I don't think so," Lia said with a smile, looking up at her tall, ridiculously attractive new neighbor. Even in her 6-inch stilettos, she was at a significant height disadvantage to him, but being with Samuel had gotten her used to that. Was he taller than Samuel? Good Lord. These thoughts flashed quickly through her head -- quickly enough not to let his smile distract her, though it might have brightened hers a bit.
"If your boxes are any indication, you're my new neighbor," she grinned up at him. "I just thought I heard some knocking around in here, so I thought I'd check it out. I've been alone on this floor for almost the whole time I've lived here."
It was then that she realized she might be being a little bit rude in that she'd essentially just confessed to being a busybody.
She extended her hand to him with a little laugh. "So yeah, I guess long story short, I was just being nosy. But welcome to the neighborhood -- or the floor, as it were. I'm Lia, I live in D3."
Her smile turned a bit impish.
"I know I should have brought over cookies or something, but I don't bake."
