Reverse Prayer
Who: Toli and Lia
What: Yoga time!
Where: the yoga place near the apartments.
When: 6:30am
Warnings: probably not.

Toli was a morning person, a night person, and an afternoon person, depending on what the situation called for. She only slept about five hours a night, and never seemed to need much more than that. The benefit to this was that she could wake up and jog down to the little yoga place nearby and enjoy a morning workout before really starting her day.

Today, she arrived early and set up her mat, sitting lotus style with hands in reverse prayer. Then she leaned forward, her head touching her mat. It might not be an actual yoga move, but it was one that Toli enjoyed; she liked how it made her feel, and that was what yoga was about, wasn't it?

Someone rustled their mat next to hers and she opened her eyes and turned her head slightly. "Hullo," she offered the newcomer. "Is it almost 6:30?"

"It is," Lia said with a smile and no tools for confirmation as she finished rolling out the edges of her purple mat. There was no clock in the studio, and her cell was resting in silence on the nightstand next to her bed, where she'd left her sleeping supercop with a kiss and a deft slip from his sleep-slowed grasp. But her sense of time told her it was close to 6:30 - that and when she'd passed the bank on the way here not two minutes ago, the clock on it had said 6:20. With a long stretch, she bent over, untying her sneakers and slipping them off, her socks following in short order.

Slowly she sank to the mat, stretching out her legs in a straddle, facing her new classmate. This early, it might end up that they were the only ones in the class, and the instructor wasn't always quite on time, so it was an opportunity to meet someone new - and Lia usually liked those.

"I'm Lia," she said with a smile as she leaned over to one side, reaching for her toes with the opposite hand. "Nice to meet you."

	Toli moved, laying on her back and arching it up. "I'm Toli," she said. "I think I've seen you around a few times. I'm not a regular - I have a chaotic job at times - but you look a bit familiar. Unless I've seen somewhere else." She liked the idea of making a yoga-buddy, even if she wasn't a regular, it was nice to have someone to look forward to. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Mmmm... I'm not sure," she said with a smile. "I don't live far from here, over at Pax?" Lia pointed and flexed her feet, stretching out over to the other side with a smile. Toli stretched out fully, smiling as she felt her body tighten and then relax. She stopped her stretch to look at Lia.

"Yeah, I'm down at Pax too. Room 101." She smiled, then added with a small laugh, "I may or may not have a bit of a temper when it comes to noise levels when I'm trying to sleep."

Huh. A woman who lived in the same complex as her. Coincidence, but not an eerie one. A welcome one, so long as Lia wasn't someone personally offended by Toli exercising her very vocal needs for quiet. Or the threats. The threats were a sticking point for a great deal many of people.

Lia raised her eyebrows and laughed, shaking her head.

"Oh, I hope you don't have too much trouble with that," she said, stretching her arms as she folded one leg over the other. "I know we have a little bit of a rowdy element at Pax."

Bending her back a bit, she crossed her legs the other way, then said, "I'm in D3. I had the whole floor all to myself until recently."

She gave a little smile.
