Hera ([info]oxeyed) wrote in [info]paxletalelogs,
Tanya had spent the morning scouring the city for decent grocery stores. Now that she was somewhat settled, it was time to set about marking out a territory for herself. She was picky about her produce, and she refused to shop anywhere that did not carry fresh produce that was up to her standards. If she was going to live here, she was going to know exactly where she could find what she needed. She had a system she used, and this system resulted in many, many bags of fruits and vegetables and the use of many, many sticky notes.

She pushed open the door to the lobby with her back, juggling the many bags of strawberries she was carrying along with her rather large purse, she did a quick survey of the area to ensure her path to the elevator was clear. It wasn't. She huffed. She wasn't a fan of the elevator. She much preferred to use the stairs. Very few people tended to use the stairs and it was good for you. With this many bags, though, the stairs weren't really an option.

She stared at the back of the woman as she cleaned up her papers and debated what to do. Manners dictated that she set down her parcels and help her clean up her mess. Her mind dictated that the woman had made the mess herself and should have to clean it up herself, and besides, she was carefully balancing all her bags. Setting them down would upset this balance. But, the papers presented a hazard. Also, this was a neighbor she had not had the chance to evaluate yet. Hm.

"Need some help?"
