Lily had been relatively busy all day. Much to Max's dismay, she was sure, she banged around the house while she gave it a full cleaning then calmed down long enough to make further noise in the kitchen while she tried out the vegan cookbook he had given her for her birthday. With a fresh vegan cake sitting on the counter, one she knew Max would pick at while she was gone, Lily had gotten ready to go to her neighbors party.
She had left her bright curls hanging down her back and slipped into a turquoise jersey tank and dark jeans. Her feet were in simple flip-flops, something she had thought a little too hard over, but had decided to be a good choice.
Opening the door of her apartment with empty hands, Tanya had requested she didn't bring anything, Lily discovered another woman waiting outside. With a smile Lily stepped up beside her, feeling her height next to the shorter woman who didn't seem all that friendly. That didn't stop Lily from attempting to talk to her. She had always found it easy to make friends with people, even people who never really had any friends, or at the very least get them to be calm enough to exchange some casual chit-chat. She hoped that this would be the case, she still hadn't met many people at the apartments.
"Are you here for Tanya's party as well?" She stopped outside of the door, not immediately going to knock but waiting for this woman's reply. "I'm Liliana, I live in 605."
