If Cat and Ry had been speaking beforehand, Charlie knew nothing of it. She'd gotten to the lobby shortly after the other woman, and had believed that they were the first two there. Rylee had shown up later, with his flashlight in tow (Probably had to decide between that or a first aid kit...at least he didn't try to fix the power himself, that would've ended up poorly), speaking with that other young man that she couldn't put a name to. But that didn't worry nor surprise her in the end, because she certainly wasn't making a habit of seeking others out.
Charlie gave a brief shake of her head. "No, Cat an' I were the first to the lobby. Rylee was talkin' tah..." Realization seemed to dawn hard on her, and she gave the man an annoyed look.
"Yah don't think Cat had somethin' to do with all'a this? My hearin', your seein', Ry's burn?" The woman had seemed far too nice to Charlie to ever do such things - what was more was it had been the first time Charlie had ever met her, so what kind of problem could she have had with any of them? Of course Charlie was discounting her own unnecessary grudges that required little to no source, but something about Cat had told her that the woman wouldn't do such things. Something about her had seemed comforting and familiar, and people like that didn't hurt others, not like that.
