"Hell," Samuel said, butting in, "I'll write a letter if it'll help you encourage them to include it. I'll even try to keep to minimal cursing, for professionalism's sake." He grinned, throwing him a teasing wink.
He liked the ready offer of assistance: He'd found such hospitality and thoughtfulness to be in short supply since moving from home. That easy warmth was something he had missed about the South, something he had found - in its more familiar forms, at least - to be missing from everywhere else he had been. It was a breath of fresh air to see it extended to him again, a joy he had no intentions of letting slip through his grasp.
"Yeah, I'll do that," he said, nodding agreement. "I think I'll be good for a while, and I'll stock up next time I'm out and thinkin' about it. But don't be a stranger, OK? It is good to meet a like mind around here. You ever feel like a beer and a round or two of MAG or Assassins Creed, you let me know." He tipped his head, vaguely indicating the door from whence he'd come. "I'm right across the hall, and I keep strange hours. So just stop by or send a forum message or something."
