"Really?" Rylee replied with a curious smile. "Well then, if I hear of any future mortar demos I'll let you know. I assume you would enjoy it. I believe the museum is setting up something in the upcoming months for the anniversary. I've been fighting for it to include live mortar demos."
He stepped away from the counter, standing fully on his feet and absentmindedly straightening a salt shaker on his counter. "Well, I won't lie, I think I'm pretty lucky that my neighbor has so much of the same interests as myself." And there was that pull as well, which Rylee kept to himself, that made him feel like he knew Samuel already. Like he had met him before even though Rylee knew he couldn't have met him already.
