The initial silence that greeted her question had Fee watching Karin carefully, wondering now about why this place was so weird that meeting some guy on the beach had her sister looking...
Well, she didn't know what. Predatory? Not really. Maybe? But something. Whatever it was, it was past unusual into the territory of "weird," and Fiona was suddenly overtaken by a strange sense of foreboding.
Even so, when Karin finally replied, Fee's laugh was like the rest of her personality - unexpectedly large coming from someone so slight. She was unabashed about it, and reached out to push her sister lightly by the shoulder.
"Not for me, dumbass," she said as her laugh subsided into a chuckle. "For you. I haven't even seen you look at a dude since that cowboy back in East HolyFuckWhereAmI, Texas."
She sobered just as quickly, though, sliding her arm once again through her sister's sand asking, "C'mon now, though. What the hell is the deal here? You just looked like you were about to go all Inception on me or something. Is there something I oughta know about?"
