He shrugged as he followed after her and the concierge. "Don't know, the weather's been fine. I mean, it wasn't raining or anything when I got home," he replied as they trooped down the stairs. Once they reached the bottom, after a fairly slow pace because of Lily still being only half awake, the concierge held open the door for them long enough for both to slip into the lobby. Then he disappeared back upstairs again, presumably to collect more residents. Max turned to glance around the lobby, seeing all the figures in the dark. He could make some of them out, but recognized none.
Next he was trying to find some kind of furniture for Lil to sit or lay on, and spotted a wooden bench near a wall. Tucking an arm around his sister's shoulders, he directed her toward it. "Here, sit. Hopefully this'll be fixed before long. The guys are going to be wondering where I disappeared off to," he said, the last bit of his sentence more of a mumble as he slid a phone out of his pocket, the light of it bright in the darkness. For a moment he wondered why he hadn't thought to use it instead of the light saber in place of a flash light. He mentally shrugged to himself, then put it back in his pocket when he realized there were no messages. Taking up a stance leaning against the wall, he glanced back at the group of people. "You know anyone, Lil? I haven't run into any of these people, yet. Certainly doesn't help that we're alone on our floor, huh?"
