Who: Ren and Shae
What: Shae is returning something that was thought lost and is looking for his reward
Where: Ren's apartment (no one has ever entered it before!!)
When: back dated to Jan 17 in the evening
Warnings: Oh yes, there will be cause for warning. Sexual encounters between two men. Innocence lost and all that rot..
Notes: It's time to return Ren's sketch book which was left in Shae's apartment during gumbo night. Inside it was a rough portrait done from memory of Shae.
It didn't look too bad for a guy living on his own.
Ren stood in his his bathroom doorway with his toothbrush hanging out of his mouth. He divided his attention from watched the TV and looking around his apartment all while leaning against the bathroom door frame. The apartment was actually starting to look less like he had just moved in. Most of the boxes had disappeared and it was fairly clean for once. He had even vacuumed the carpet and dusted a little bit. Today was a day off from the theme park and Ren had been productive. He had put away most of his collectibles and had found places for his many books. His video games had been unpacked since the day he had moved in.
He grinned around the toothbrush as The Simpson's caught his attention again and the cartoon ended as the credits started to roll out on the screen. One day maybe he might create something that might end up on Fox, but he doubted it would last more than a season on that network. Simpson's and Family Guy had that market cornered.
He walked over as he worked on cleaning his teeth and reached down to turn the television off. He really wouldn't get anything done if he started seriously watching the TV. He might also have to stay away from his computer tonight as well. That last one was going to be hard seeing as he was very much addicted to it.
Ren walked back to the bathroom to spit out the toothpaste and clean his face with a towel when he heard a loud and fast knocking on his door. He blinked a little and leaned out of his bathroom and looked over at his front door. He wasn't expecting anyone. He never expected anyone. He made his way over to the door and looked at it suspiciously. He scratched the back of his neck, shrugged and started to go through the motions of unlocking the door.
"Mm, one second!" He said before opening the door slightly and peeking around it. He belatedly thought that perhaps he probably should have used the peephole set in the door to look first before actually opening the door to some random person knocking ferociously at his door. Stupid.
