He sensed the subtle change in her line of questioning, the faint differences from one laugh to another. Adam felt certain she had a more pointed question in mind, something vastly more dangerous than that common query. Though his curiosity was piqued he held his tongue on that score, content to merely follow her lead. "I had a great time," he said. "We first met Pru there - she was at Naea's Christmas party, so I think you've met. Her costume was amazing, and she did it all herself." He shook his head. "I wish I had talent like that.
