Kami checked her impulse to switch seats, to cross over and snuggle into the inviting cushion at his side, seeking warmth and companionship. His final words put a halt on any thoughts in that direction and she found herself rewarding him and his blush with a crooked, sweet smile. "That's sweet," she answered softly. "No one's ever drawn me before. Well... Not a real drawing. Caricatures at fairs don't count, right?"
Very carefully, she shifted her position in the chair. She didn't want to disrupt what Ren had drawn but her hand was already starting to show signs of pins and needles. Just the barest of motions and she felt relief, watching him with big dark eyes. "And I'm alright," she answered to his earlier question. "Just feeling a bit iffy, you know? Might be coming down with something or it's a touch of food poisoning." Her smile grew a bit more. "Don't you worry about it, Ren. Though it's so very, very sweet of you to. Thank you."
