"Oh, sure." The answer was almost too quick but her smile gained some additional strength and she left the desk to cross the lobby. If she objected to his sketchpad, she said nothing and merely claimed the comfy chair opposite him, curling a leg atop the cushion and sitting atop it. Then she rested one elbow on the arm of the chair and leaned her cheek against the upraised hand. "I don't mind," she answered quietly.
It was uncertain if she referred to him drawing her or his missed hello. As she considered him, though, she relaxed more into the chair and some of the nervous tension disappeared. Just a little but enough to relieve his concern. Hopefully.
"Did you see anything you like?" Kami asked. "I mean, did you draw anything you like?" The clarification came quick on the heels of the first question as she realized it could be taken wrong. She was not feeling that sassy, at all.
