Naea might have been doing a good job of keeping her anger in check, but some of it seemed to seep into her tone. Or just body language, either way, Pru was definitely getting the message that she just didn't want to talk. She tried not to wilt under her friend's non-excitement for the party; Pru was terrible at getting out to meet people (well, she was better than she had been) and the anticipation for the little hallway festivities had given her something to look forward to. She gave a little dip of her head at Naea's apology.
"S'all right. Um, do you want to talk about it? I mean, shitty customers at work? I know the holidays suck when it comes to people and their demands..." She trailed off, knowing that this wasn't going to get Naea talking, but damn if Pru wasn't trying.
