Who: OPEN
What: The Halloween party continues, now with far more elaborate costumes...
Where: The Empty Grave
When: 9 p.m. until
Warnings: Just assume this one's going to get naughty.
Notes: This is the transformation post! Again, subject line denotes location. Go shed those mortal skins!

As it had been with Pax Letale, so it was with its tenants: The shift from mundane to immortal was somehow creeping but immediate, passing almost beneath notice until the change was complete. Clothing faded rather than being shed; some deities remained in their humans' attire, some wore their old familiar kit, but all were utterly changed. The DJ played on, bartenders and waitstaff wound through the crowd, guests from outside the strange apartment danced and talked and flirted still with the partners who had brought them, all of them oblivious to the inhuman nature of the beings beside them. But for the residents of Pax, everything was about to change.

"Must we?" His hand shifted further up her thigh; her dress gathered at his wrist, stalling any more substantial progress. At the corner of her mouth he grinned, his eyes leaving hers for one brief, unconcerned look at the crowd around them. His hand slipped softly up her back, tangling in her loose hair, tugging sharply at one thick lock. "What will one more show hurt them," he said, a playful taunt edging his voice. He drew her lip between his teeth, worrying gently at its soft swell. It took patience he hadn't known he possessed to keep from lifting her against him and carrying her off, taking her in some dark corner where perhaps, perhaps, for a time they would not be seen. But this reunion, he knew, deserved something better than that, if just as expedient. He sucked at her lip as he pulled away, his nails pressing shallow crescents into the smooth skin of her leg. "Their homes are so far, and I've waited long enough."

She raised a brow at him, then shook her head as she smiled, then kissed his lower lip. "Their homes?" she asked, one of her hands sliding down his chest between them, down as her soft lips brushed his. "How could I wait that long," she murmured, giving him another kiss, her hand sliding further down, brushing over his belt, then lower still, pressing against him. "It's been ages... forever..." Her tongue slid into his mouth, and her hand slipped further down, coaxing her skirt up a bit more, pressing her body closer still to his. "I've missed your taste, my Enyalios," she said, rocking her hips subtly, suggestively against him. "I've missed your touch. I don't want to share you with them," she nodded toward the crowd, and she pulled back just the slightest bit, her lips pursing into a moue. "Surely you don't want to share me, do you?"

Her trap was perfectly baited and set; suddenly patience seemed a useless and unnecessary virtue. His hips pressed to hers once more, and then his hands shifted, slipping as easily around her as they always had. Heedless of their observers he draped her slight weight over his shoulder, one arm wrapped tight around her legs. Aphrodite laughed, wriggling against him a bit as she held his shoulder, slid her palm over his back. His grin was so self-satisfied as to be nearly obscene. "No," he said, "never again." With each step he felt her necklace thumping at his back, her hands and the points of her nails pressing against him; he sighed happily at each small sensation, but already wanted more.
