In a surprisingly firm and steady voice though lacking emotion, she said, "Now is not the time to cause a riot, cousin. Lest our mortal forms suffer dire consequences." And with that strange firmness, she tugged Eris back away from the crowd, digging her fingernails into flesh with an unnecessary firmness.
