The smile on her face was one of intense pride at Kami's compliments. Pru took another sensibly sized bite of the cupcake, one hand held delicately to her mouth to prevent crumbs from scattering everywhere.

"Thank you - honestly, I wanted to do some freelance first, just to build up my portfolio. There are always those indie projects that get so little attention, and I would love to have my name attached to them." She blinked, and then quirked her mouth. "Of course, finding said indie projects is the difficult part." She finished her sentence with another bite of cupcake, and then looped fingers around the page. Before turning, she posited her own question for Kami.

"So you said you worked in theater?" It was pure natural curiosity, and she glanced at Kami after the punctuation. Then she looked back to her portfolio, flipping the page over to reveal close-ups of knees that had been worn down to the bone, the skin having been rolled up like stockings and held up by garters of all things.
