Prudence Collins † THE MÒRRÌGAN ([info]banrion) wrote in [info]paxletalelogs,
Her smile didn't dissipate at his explanation, instead choosing to take a friendlier route. Hey, at least he hadn't been rude about it, and that was all that Pru cared. He seemed a little nervous about discussing it, though, perhaps out of embarrassment or shyness she couldn't tell. No matter, though, as she continued on with the topic about the mutating floors.

"So you're saying I've moved into a building where the management routinely drugs people? Do they switch them around inside their lives for scientific study as well?" Her quip came from the movie Dark City, in the hopes of bringing him out of his shell a little. She could remember her own shyness, though he was ten times better than she'd been, and so far their stumbling conversation was getting along fairly well.

"If they do, I hope they make me a movie star. But they'd better get rid of my stage fright, first."
