Ah. That third (or fifth) wheel feeling was settling in. Funny how that seemed to work when there wasn't something else to pay attention to--like the game. She smiled at the folks still coming in, chuckled briefly at Samuel's comment and politely sipped on her lime water. Maybe the game was fun, but the dinner she could have passed on.
Mentally, Naea began running through her list of 'to do' when she got home. Psych homework, do the dishes, probably start some laundry. Oh yeah, need new shoes for work since the current ones are giving a peepshow of my socks... It wasn't intentional and no one's fault, but it often happened when Naea felt out of the loop.
