As if the other woman had been waiting on the other side, hand on the knob in anticipation, the door swung open immediately and Naea was greeted by Kami's bright-smiling face. "Hello, my tool savior," she chirped. "Thank you so much for helping me out here." She tilted her head and lifted one shoulder in a wry shrug. "My old roomies had the tools and I totally forgot to pick up my own when I moved out."
Taking a step back, Kami motioned for Naea to join her. The room she entered somehow seemed very, very Kami from the overriding theme of comfort with a squishy gray couch and an army of pillows. Odd bits of furniture added to the lived-in look, small and sweet end tables supporting lamps and knick knacks. Only the builder-grade white walls seemed out of place.
"Can I get you something to drink or do we want to go right at that mirror?"
