He could talk to Charlie all he wanted but Dorcas was pointedly avoiding her and so would not be able to make introductions. She shook her head at his first question, "No... I can't. It's one thing to talk to someone who lives in the building. Who knows. But... I can't. There's too much." Too much that came without the building, before her life at Pax. Hell, no one even knew that her family had took off on her - not even her boss. Who would believe that a family ditched their only daughter? Maybe that contributed to it. Maybe her mind was really finally snapping and Charlie had her own reasons for snapping.
