Lukas did not recognize Honey, as he had no reason to have ever met Vince's wife. Lukas' dynamic with Vince relied pretty heavily on flirting with women and playing wingman in margarita bars.. wives have never fit into those kinds of situations.

But, despite the woman's florid attack and apparent shouting, Lukas was still coherent enough to read lips. Some of them; he picked up on Vince and barbecue before she leapt at him with fresh savagery to pound on his chest. Lukas wrangled back with a wince, catching the woman's wrists in his fingers for the sake of self-preservation. It wasn't like he could explain his innocence or his confusion, but he also wasn't going to release her hands until he was sure that she didn't want to claw his face off.

Lukas tried to convey with his eyes that she needed to calm down.. which may or may not have worked, considering that he was currently rocking his serial killer hobo-scruff.
