Re: Well after 6, opening day
He lifted a brow at that, almost unable to hold back the laugh that came at such a question. "I wouldn't ask you to do anything you don't want to do," Simon answered simply, and it was quite the truthful answer. He wouldn't want her to treat him any differently, or expect something from him he was unable to provide. Having her here, his sister, his twin... It was already asking too much.
So he simply leaned against her fingers slightly, eyes falling shut once more as he simply existed. At her promise, he looked to her again, lifting one hand to curl his fingers around hers, giving them a gentle squeeze. "I like it when you say that name," he said quietly. "And I won't lie. Not to you." A heartbeat elapsed and he leaned forward, pressing his lips against her forehead, freezing there for several moments before pulling back.
"My time's up. Isn't it?" he asked, tilting his head to the side, reluctant to part, but a part of him, deep inside, reminded him that they had time now. There was no rush, no need to cling to every moment as it was the last. Twenty four years apart didn't seem to matter now that he knew where she was.
