Re: Third Day; Around Noon
"Well, time is good," she said, laughing. At the invitation, she nodded. "Okay! I will, thanks." She paused, looking at her sports bottle. "Uh. I'll just. Put this here." She set it down on the floor by the door, resting against the wall. "There." She smiled before taking off to look about the small gallery.
She paced the floor slowly, gaze finding every piece as she went. They were beautiful, she concluded. Interesting and colorful and very nice. The abstract ones were her favorite because if she stared long enough, they looked like a thousand different paintings at once. Every one told a different story, and so Simon managed to paint a picture that was worth thousands of thousands of words.
After ten minutes of wandering, Riley looked to her watch and frowned. She needed to eat something before her afternoon workout, or she'd pass out. Looking over at Simon, she smiled apologetically. "I'm sorry I can't stay longer," she said, picking up her sports bottle. "But I have a fight in two weeks and I have to hit the gym." She smiled. "It was nice to meet you in person! And I hope this goes really well for you. You've got some really nice pieces. I'll probably be back for one."
