"Mine went all Sherwood Forest," Jack snerked. "No weapons, no stench, no guts in jars. Just trees. Nice wood floors, though." His smirk stayed in place as he studied Charlie. Yeah, she was definitely hardcore, he noted for future reference. Hot, too, but not the kind of girl you mess with.

He looked down at Dorcas -- Dorcas The Explorer, he mentally grinned -- and rubbed her shoulder. "So, Dorcas, you get enough photographic evidence down here? Ready to move on?" His voice was soothing as velvet. "The second floor actually smells pretty nice. I think they have some kind of incense burning or something." With a bit of a grimace, he pulled his shirt back up over his nose again.
