Given the situation, the newcomer's entrance was neither helpful nor particularly desirable. Navid's lips thinned, an exasperated sigh escaping him. But rather than rise to the obvious bait he merely turned to his now-coworker, gritting his teeth as he leaned into the frigid spray. As before, the rubber padding continued to slip; it was all he could do to fit the sheet over the break at all, let alone secure it. A lesser man might have cursed. Navid only further clenched his jaw, shaking his waterlogged head as he fought to tighten his grip on the pipe.
"At this point maintenance had better get here soon," he said, coughing as he tipped his head from beneath the flow of water. "I feel sorry for anyone on three or below, though."
