Bast purred and tipped her head up into Maman's hand at the brief pat on the head. Normally, she would scoff at such demeaning gestures, but in this form she quite enjoyed it, and knew others couldn't help themselves. Gods help the person who tried to 'pet' her in her human form.
She looked over to the path the goddess had indicated, immediately hissing and baring her teeth at the dogs in the way. "Follow me," she growled, leaping ahead of them and pouncing on the first dog in the way, knocking it off its feet and viciously tearing at its throat with her teeth, shortly after which it disappeared in a puff of smoke. Without waiting for the others she pounced on the next one...
