"The human?" the Baron asked, pausing only a moment in his rapid battering of the skull. Then his bloody fingers moved around the hinge of the jaw—still snapping, though slower and slower by the second—and began to pull. He raised one lanky leg, putting his foot on the top row of the thing's teeth, and used his stance as leverage to begin pulling the jaw apart.
"He is blessed to be ridden by the Baron," he said, pulling still. A loud creak, then a snap, sounded the jaw tearing from its hinge. Teeth angrily clacked together, but its fate was sealed. "Now help me with this last bit."
