Matthew tightened his hold on the blanket around him and nodded. "I don't think I even have my contacts in anymore," he murmured before looking to the ground somewhat bashfully. "Some first date, huh? I'm sorry it ended like this." He looked at his blanket covered form and grew red.
"I'm sorry that all happened." He glanced at her, a hand slipping out from the blankets to touch hers as it was wrapped around his arm and he frowned all the further as the nerves and fright and events began bubbling out in a stream of words. "I agree, you need a hot bath. You're not feeling colder than usual anywhere, are you? She.. Marzanna, she was frozen. I mean, you know that, you were there. Sort of. But you're not feeling the remnants of that, are you?"
