Re: Marzanna/Chernobog - 10 pm, the poor doors/pool area
Marzanna's mouth echoed Chernobog's, her gaze moving down to glance at the falling bodies around her. There was a clear pathway to the door; yelping, sharp gasps of air echoed her slow, ungraceful march toward the exit. Ungainly steps carried her as far as she could manage, snow well pulled away from the gaping doorway; rather than attempting to step through carefully, Marzanna lurched as well as she was able into the hall beyond the door.
Alex took back over, brushing ice from her skin as she twirled back around on bare feet. She nearly fell back into the snow spilling from the doorway as she looked back into the devastated landscape that had been the rec room, looking for Matt.
"Matthew? Matthew!" He had become the shadow creature, and for a moment, she was worried she wouldn't get him back. She could see the thing hovering further inside the room; equal parts fear and excitement lit her nervous system, leaving her frozen in uncertainty.
