Re: Ares/Raven/Maui/Coyote - by the pool table, 10 p.m.
"Very good, my friend!" Coyote said, coming close enough to Maui to clap the other deity on the back with a paw. It seemed things would be all well and good, until a growling sound rose from behind him—two ahuizotl, looking worse for the wear, were moving almost soundlessly through the snow toward them.
"Perhaps we should get going, then?" He stood his ground between the Hawaiian god and the other clutching the young woman in his arms. Claws unsheathed, he growled in warning at the approaching dog-like animals, who merely barked a challenge in return. Coyote crouched, gathering snow into his paws to quickly make a round ball of ice, and threw it at the first ahuizotl; startled, a pitched whine rang out.
"Through the door, then, Ares?" Coyote tried with a smile over one shoulder, before hurling another snowball at their antagonists.
