Re: Ares/Raven/Maui/Coyote - by the pool table, 10 p.m.
"I'll carry her," Ares said. Eris nestled snug in his arms, held against his armor-plated chest. His spear was gone, returned to whatever liminal space it occupied when not in use. His sandaled feet were hardly the tool he would have chosen to dig his way free of a snowbank, but he saw no alternatives. He tipped his chin toward the snow crowding around the door. "Clear that," he said, even as he walked toward it himself.
Once in front of the little snowdrift, Ares found the places others had already passed through, and set to work kicking with one foot at its partially displaced wall. Raven wheeled overhead, dropping her pilfered eyeball onto the head of one of the tipua. With a joyous screech she descended on the snow a pace away from her friends. Hopping, she began clearing away small portions of snow with claws and beak and wings. Ares made a minimal effort to avoid her with his increasingly desperate kicks, but every movement he made sent snow flying in all directions.
"Stay with us," he demanded, pointedly refusing to look down to his unconscious sibling.
