Re: Xochipilli/Freyr - by the snack table near the entrance toward the dance floor, 10 pm
Twisting in Freyr's grip, the Aztec kicked at the creature of his pantheon's making. The spikes of the ahuizotl's fur cut at his calf, leaving Xochipilli muttering in his native language once more. He screamed at the thing, making it fall back momentarily, its hackles raised and teeth bared.
"¡Ximocahcāhua!," he hissed at the thing, waving his good hand at the remainder of the creatures. Somehow, this seemed to work; the two creatures leaned down, hind legs raised, both echoing the god's hiss. Xochipilli urged Freyr on; they were so close to the door now, but he wasn't sure how long the dog-like creatures would obey his order.
"Keep going," he whimpered, his arm jerked by a sudden move back against Freyr and toward the door. A sharp bark behind him said that their movements needed to be quick, that his earlier fear was quickly coming to fruition.
