Re: Xochipilli/Freyr - by the snack table near the entrance toward the dance floor, 10 pm
Freyr did not take Xochipilli's arm. He struggled to his feet on his own, leaving Xochipilli to worry over his own significant wounds. The room was still a mess and growing more so by the second; he put a protective arm around his friend, careful not to bump his wounded arm, and began to herd him toward the door. A small opening had been dug out of the snowbank. A trio of muscular, doglike creatures turned on him, their frost-laden hackles raised, but Freyr's steps did not slow or stop. His face was set, his mind made up, and there was nothing that would stop him getting out of this room.
The first ahuizotl leapt toward them, jaws and claws outstretched to tear at them. It caught Freyr's sandaled foot in its front teeth. The kick was hard and fast; it sent the creature sliding back toward the door, where it struck the powdery bank in a puff of displaced snow. The two that remained seemed to take this as a personal affront. They launched themselves at the pair in an utter fury, their snarls sending flecks of spittle flying. Sharp teeth sank into Freyr's calf, tearing red lines into brown flesh. He yelped a curse but continued ever forward, pulling Xochipilli along with him as best he could.
