Re: Uke Mochi/Apollo, 10 pm, near the pool doors
Apollo grinned widely, definitely agreeing with her observation, but seeing that warning as more of a challenge. "Let him try," he said, expertly twirling his staff in front of him, as a weapon. "It's hard to lay hands on someone who can see the future," he reasoned, lofting one perfectly sculpted eyebrow at her and then nodding towards the skeleton in the doorway.

The skeleton lunged at him as soon as he came within range, but Apollo moved with fluidity and grace, avoiding the swipes of bony hands, and deflecting others with the satisfying crack of his staff. The staff itself moved so fast it seemed to blur into a golden shield in front of him, clipping finger bones and several times catching the gashadokuro in the skull. All the while Apollo grinned with enjoyment and the rush of battle, keeping the whirling staff between the demon and them, so that Uke Mochi and he could make their way out onto the pool deck. Just as they did, he caught a glimpse of others rushing forward to tend to Eris, just as he said they would.
