Re: Xochipilli/Freyr - by the snack table near the entrance toward the dance floor, 10 pm
Xochipilli gripped Freyr's hand with a fervor his face and voice were trying to belie. His free hand reached for his mask, and whatever was on it (revealed to apparently be some mixture of mashed avocado and a few other items that were not immediately identifiable in Xochipilli's currently worried state); he pulled both away, though streaks of green remained on his cheeks and chin. Following Freyr's advice, he tepidly allowed one foot to sink into the ground beneath him, toeing carefully for some level flooring.

There was none to be found. And what was more, once his foot was beneath the floor, the thing refused to give it back up. He grinned, the expression wavering between madness and fright, at Freyr. "I'm afraid that's a nonstarter, but I'm open to other suggestions. I'm a decent hand at swimming, but that's usually through water, not...whatever this is." His hand gripped Freyr's again, trying to maintain his hold even as he could feel himself sinking a little more with each passing moment.

"Perhaps...a rope, or...some other item that could remove me from this awkward situation?"
