Alice had left her well-meaning friends behind, urging her forward like mother hens as she tossed her now-empty cup of punch away and made her way towards Lucas. She smiled at him as she passed the other party goers and silently scolded herself to not be so nervous, and the alcohol in her system agreed.
"Hi!" She said cheerfully when she reached him and immediately found herself at a loss for words past that. Licking at her lips and fidgeting with her hands she nodded at his wardrobe. "You look nice."
