Cassie was shaking her head before she could stop herself. "Mistakes get you reprimanded or yelled at, not a box full of angry insects," she muttered to herself, her grip on her steering wheel tightening for a moment. But Paul was continuing and Cassie was doing her best to drive quickly and safely to the hospital. It wasn't far, only a few blocks, and there was hardly any traffic to maneuver around.
"Completely okay," Cassie promised as she turned the next corner. The hospital was just in sight now and she'd stop by the entrance so Paul and Evan could get in as quickly as possible. "You'll be better in no time, put this behind you, find out who did it, and everything will be great." Sure there were complications, but those were just details. Best to stay positive, right?
