Ren looked down at the other man's feet. He couldn't really tell, but it sounded like it hurt. "Ouch, I guess you should keep off of them then. I guess you won't be wearing heels any time soon." He had thought he had been joking about walking up stairs in heels a first, but now he guessed that it wasn't a joke at all. "It might make it worse if you tried."
He was a little surprised by the touch, but he just looked down at the other man's hand and then glanced back up at him. He'd get anxious around a group of people, but he was just fine around a single person. Ironically the job he kind of hated seemed to be making it a little easier to be social. It came more natural the more he practiced it.
"Sure, if you say so. How come you don't like the beach?" He reached out and mimicked the same touch on Mirza's arm. He even nudged him a little.
At the mention of working at night, Ren became pretty curious about Mirza's job. "So where do you work? Can't be worse than my job. I hate my job."
